What does the tie rod end bolt to on the spindle? And is it a tie rod end that has the bolt, cotter pins, stuff? Somebody said that it's the ball joint. Anyway, the hole in the spindle is "WHOLLERED" out. Its got like a rubber bushing there between them parts. Every time I cut my wheels, feels like the passenger tire is dragging and 'bout to break off. The problem is, though, on my passenger side. Had somebody "shim" it up with two 3/4 washers, but still doing the same. Just wanting to know what to ask for??? and by the way how much does it usually run??
I'm sorry '79 Ford F=150 4x4, NO power steering. By the way the dude at Advance today said it was the spindle and said they couln't get one, So did Western Auto. Don't have a clue now.
