Slick 50

I have a 79 ford that only has 139,*** on it. I've been using lucas with great results for the first two weeks, I was wondering if slick 50 is as good as it claims. I was told at one time never to use that stuff because it has teflon in it and that might block the bearing journals. I don't know. What do you all think.

I would use Valvoline Synpower Oil Treatment if you want any kind of oil additive. It is great stuff. There is some new oil analysis data posted in this forum.

what are you trying to prevent? i use lucus oil aditive in my dads truck because he uses a quart every 500 miles and it took it to about 2 quarts every oil change. i really believe in this stuff.... and yes, i hear teflon in the engine is bad
