What happened to Slick 60's??

I know several of you guys also visit the Slick 60's site but for the last few days I keep getting the notice that the site has been suspended Slick 60's • Portal

Anybody know what's going on over there?

When they went to the new format a few months ago they left alot of information from the other site on the new one so hit their max usage so the web provider shut it down to be safe and did not let the programer and admiistrator for the site know so he was unaware for a few days.

Wow, that probably freaked him out when he figured out the site had been down for a few days!

Who's running the site? I tried a while back to get in touch with someone to make a change in an article to no avail.

I don't stop in often.

John there is a whole long list of admin on the opening page. On my screen its down at the bottom right if im not mistaken. I think the main admistrator is a person they call Kid. Im not a 100% sure on this hope it helps. I dont particularly care for the new web page design but they dont confer with me so I just live with it and go about my day. Good luck.

15 or so years back Foodstick had a little group site on Excite, there was about 10-12 folk when I joined if memory serves. I believe Excite was absorbed by Yahoo. Along that path Slick60s was born & it kinda merged as the lead name for the group. They then moved to MSN groups, and finally a site of their own. Kid is a friend of Foodstick and was there when I joined the Excite group. Much of the way Foodstick didn't offer any leadership but was their as a member. Kid has always been there, although I have always thought he was a neighbor & bud of Foodstick. I spent my time here helping grow this site, & don't know is driving that train over there. This site was started over a 67 F100.

The software they are running is phpBB, a good forum package. Looks pretty basic with no bells or whistles added.

I do have an account there but Ive never posted. Some good info to be found there as well.

And yeah, I dont care for the look of it either. And it looks like they lost alot of the old articles they had.

Hey there John! I remember you from the Slick 60's. I don't remember if you made the first get-together in Iowa or not.

Regards,
Dane

Hey No Sir, I didn't make it. Good to see that you are still pumping air and hanging out.
