Right, You are correct and I crossed the line. I understood that the thread was old, but that is what the search function does for you. However, I do wonder why one would reply when their response has absolutely nothing to do with the thread initiator's actual question.
There are many of us on this forum who genuinely need all the help they can get with working on these old trucks. I am one of those individuals and it is really disheartening to see responses to questions that offer no help whatsoever and really just attack a person's choices.
Due to the FTE program change-over (DCForum to Vbulletin then Upgrade of Vbulletin) that took place last year, several posts found another thread than the ones they were originally posted in.
The Result : It ended up looking like jibberish to users.
Due to the fact that you noticed that it seemed wrong ,you could have just ignored it & posted a new thread and left this one alone,Since there weren't any other replies to this in 2 years
My suggestion......Just ignore this thread and start another to do with the same topic .
OK, OK... I don't understand all those computer terms, so it doesn't matter to me anyway. I just wanted an answer to my question. However, it matters not since I found a supplier for them. If anyone would like to purchase these I will give you the phone number for them. The large ones (12 bolt) are $32 a side and the small ones (8 bolt) are $18 a side. According to the distributor they come complete with bolts and ship out the same day if ordered before 1:00pm.
I find myself in the same position. I spent a day going in and out of shops lookin for knuckle covers. If you could post back here or email the company I would be much appriciated. Thank you.
Well considering I was not here 2 year's ago for Villigidt, I think the name he was looking for is Berry Bearing, out of ?? Waukegan IL. Try an internet search for them, they carry alot of stuff for axle's and related component's.
