highboy power steering
many may not know this, but on the highboy if you remove all the old power assisted steering and box in the frame where the box will go. get all power steering units off of an f150 4x4,must be in the 70's, measure out and driil holes for f150 box, hook up all remaining pieces and bam you have power steering for a fraction of the cost

how are you working this? as a crossover setup? i know you can use the 2wd box and set it up like that, but idon't see where your sayig at a fraction of the cost, the 2wd and 4wd boxes are close in price. i just dont see how the 4x4 box would work

The ONLY way it would work is as a crossover setup. Otherwise it will steer left when you turn right. Or if you replace the screw in the box so it steers backwards. Even if you go thru the trouble, the 150 gear mounts on the outside of the frame and the tire hits it when you steer all the way right. This is a method that many tried and decided to forgo for the 2wd box setup. Which I might add is the way to go in my opinion.
