does anybody know,or have the info from ford, on the icp bulletin? when ford had my truck, they never breathed a word, and they had it all tore down, would have been the time to plop a new one,and pigtail in. but then, i am out of warranty,a 2004 6.0. a no person...............
well, got off the phone with ford "owner relationship" about the recall on the icp,and ficm wire harness. my truck, according to the vin,did not fall under the recall, did for the headlights though.so, here is the phone number:1-800 392 3673. you have to go through one of those dumb menus to get to the recall dept.i found that recall right here under superdutysd recalls. it started in 05. the fella did write it all down too.in case i die, driving my truck?? it may be worth te time for you to call, before you start pulling parts yourself. i am still putting in the new icp though, when it arrives.
something else to consider: the wiring harness for the ficm, it is known to chafe. look at all your wiring harness, i found a spot, look under the dash too. i ordered a icp,but have not put it in yet, got lucky, mine is on the valve cover.after i jiggled the harness here and there, taped the spot up, it has run fine, will change the sensor still though.i am getting better milage though, since i jiggled all the wiring around, really funny! wanna make a 6.0 run good, pop the hood, and jiggle your wires............sad!
i need help!!! when i replaced my turbo i knocked off this small little connector. its two wire, fits into an oblong socket it is also wrapped in insolution. i have looked and looked for the place to plug it in and no luck. driving me nuts. this is 2006 f350 diesel.

That sounds like the IPR valve connector. It is located behind and below the turbo.
