I just had this good idea. I will walk out to my old 352 and rob that motor again for some bolts.

Then i will just worry with the getting new bolts for that when the time comes.


problem solved. for now i think ...... LOL



If i had my on lathe, milling machine, and a surface grinder i could make anything.

Then i could make a solid perfectly round stainless ball. (just for the hell of it)



now only if i had some way to harden the parts that need to be..... hmmmm...LOL

This time take it easy on the torque spec. Maybe the low side? Those old bolts have been stretched for 35+ yrs. Don't take much to break them. Use a dab of locktite to keep them from loosening this time.

I did go out and buy some grade 9 bolts. I was told that those things are new. They only have had them for 3 days. They had not even started to stock them yet. I was his first customer on those.

those things are as strong as the ARP bolts.
