I'm putting a Cummins ISB in my '86 150 and need to know if there is a difference between the F-250 frame and the F-150 Frame in the engine bay.
The motor mounts I need to buy state that they will fit f-250 - 350 - etc.....
I don't know if they excluded the 150 because it's a 1/2 ton, and the idiot I talked to on the phone only knew what was listed in the catalog.
I know there are differences in frame strength, but I don't know about motor mount compatibility.
Here's a suggestion: look up motor mounts for an F-150 with a 300, and an F-250 with a 300. If the part numbers are the same, then the mounts will also interchange for your application. Make sense?
