Hi Devon! Welcome to FTE! I am going to move this thread to the 2004-2005 F150 forum. They may be able to help you a bit more with a spot to put your CB.

See ya online!

I got my fx4 in jan 2005 and still havent mounted my cb. i've been trying to run down an overhead consol that comes in the lariates. i'm thinking putting it in the overhead. i've looked at the ashtray a few times, i dont smoke put my galaxy 44 is to wide to fit. but... if it could have fit i was going to put it where the ashtray is and was going to remove the cigar lighter and put a mic hook up in its place and on the back side i would hook it to the cb. can you give us a pix of your installed cb?

Talking CB Pics

Here ya go, Doesn't look Bad at all

I still need to Run the wires for it,

I removed the plastic and attached it straight to it. It seems very sturdy that way, It takes a lot of force to remove it so it shouldn't fall off
