Does anyone remember the upfitter wiring information becuase I have tired the tech folder and found nothing. I need to know where the wires are to hook into to use the switches.
Thanks,
Just take the 4 screws out of the fuse box, pull it out a bit and they right behind it can't miss them. But pull the fuse box out a little it much easier to get at.(the fuse box on the driver side)
Tim,
Well, the link in the tech folder was not working so it did not help me at all.
Scraprat,
Thanks for letting me know to remove the fuse block. I found the wires right where you said. It makes me wonder though, why would ford run 4 wires through the firewall for my convenience and terminate them in a well accessible spot but not tell me about them. Then make me BUY upfitter switches for my convenience, tell me all about them, then hide the wires behind the fuse block? This is supposed to help me?
if any one has a problem locating the ford fleet site and the area it's in. you can e-mail me and i will send you the folder in adobe.i'll be glad to help.

Thanks. I wondered if you had another bulletin on how to hook up an auxiliary device (satellite radio) to the 6 disc changer. I figure that it would hook up the same way a cd changer would. If you have anything on this, please let me know.
