I have a 460 with a dbbl pump holley on a 1976 quad van, I need to find out how to route the vacuum line so it all runs properly. I am at a loss and none of the chilton books seem to help much. can they be disconnected and pluged and have no ill effects?

Unfortunately they don't print the Vacuum diagrams in them.
You need the calibration number off the valve cover.
ie: 7-RO- 56
Once you have that click the photo of my truck and scroll to the bottom of the page <> you will see a link to vacuum diagrams.

T.Y. Dennis. I checked out the site, found all sorts of info, the only key thing I'm missing is the calibration number off the valve cover. I am working on a VERY cramped space ( van w/ 460 ) but I could not find any numbers on the cover , do i need to remove and look inside. I am not a machanic just a dumb iron working foreman . The van at present has little to no vacuum lines hooked up or plugged. I live on an island in south east alaska and finding any one that knows anything about carburetors is not easy, I'll take any advise you have, and keep plucking away at it. thanks for the help
Tim.
I beleive it is an E-250. There is no labeling to it, just clubwagon-quadvan. I do know with about 1600 lbs of tools it weighs in at just shy of 10 grand. Its pretty heavy duty.
