ABS Sensor part #??
Hi,
I have a '99 2.5L 2wd, manual trans, rear ABS. The ABS light is on and speedo usually cuts out und 20 MPH. With help from you guys on this board, I've decided I need to replace the ABS sensor in the rear axle(right?).
Here's the prob; the Idoits at my local NAPA can't seem to find a part for me. Does anyone happen to know of a NAPA, Motorcraft(or other) part number for this sensor? They need as much help as they can get! So do I.

this sounds exactly like what just started with my 2000 ranger tonight.. was backing out of driveway, went into first gear, moved forward, abs light came on and my speedometer doesn't work. My first instinct was to come here to see what ya'll had to say.. am glad I did, if that's the fix for my problem! thanks in advance I hope LOL

um, my sensors come on everytime im in the mudd, i just let them go then, all is good a day or two later... dunno what the deal is

ABS sensor part #s
To fix the ABS light on dash from shining and speedometer failure, Mazda # ZZP0-43-711b Ford Motocraft # BRAB-130 F85Z2L373-AC
This sensor is on the top of the rear axle housing and is held in place with one bolt that can be removed with a 10mm socket. Use small screw driver to gently pry the cable connector tabs on the left and right side out a little and pull the connector off. It helps to lube the oring on the new sensor a little. Just pull the old sensor and pop the new one in. John
