Ebay starter
Hey fellas, anybody ever buy one of these? Mine is going south. I bid on one, lost, but the original buyer backed out and now I've got a chance at it for cheap! Also, it's a lester #17578, "for 1995-2003 Powerstrokes" everything I've seen on that # was for the OBS. Is this right? Does it matter?

Cheapest OEM starter I have found runs about $185.00 for 01-03 7.3 diesel
Gas motor starter is about $145.00 for 99-05.

Be careful with those "supposed" second chance offers. Sometimes the seller is just scamming the backup bidders, plus you won't get any help from ebay because selling items outside of an ebay auction is prohibited. Just a thought.

Here's what it said on the E-bay message-
"The selling of this item through Second Chance Offer is in compliance with eBay policy; you will be able to exchange Feedback with the seller and will be eligible for all eBay services associated with a transaction, such as fraud protection."
I'm guessing this is legit?

Now, I've looked at the picture of the starter for sale, and the one on my truck. I guess the SD are different from the OBS.
