warn m4 hub-help needed
anyone familiar with the design and history of the warm m4 hub? im hoping this is the most appropriate forum, but am not sure. doesnt seem to be much info out there on the web, and my earliest shop manual is 66. my impressio is that they would have been on fords from 61-66 or so?
essentially, i cant figure out how to remove them. they are different internally from the stock fords that im used to and the newer warn premiums.

Welcome, what year truck and is it F-100, 250 or what? I have warn hubs on my 66 4x4 F-100, with it once the outer locking hub is off there is a snap ring around the end of the axle to remove, then a inside snap ring around the outer hub housing to remove. Then the rest of it should slide out. Hope this is of some help to you.

thanks for the reply. it is a dana 30 from a 66 ford bronco. and i have removed both the inner and outer snap rings. the remaining parts have some slight play, but do not at all seem to want to come out. i was wondering if some special tool was needed for this design. also there looks to be a "lip" around the edge of the wheel hub.
