Worse? No!
It's 100 times better. I hated the stock tire/wheels from the beginning. The truck is little to wide and heavy for the tires sake (skinny and tall). I had replaced stock wheels and tires with 20x10 with 285/50/20, what gave me only 0.1" over the stock wheel diameter, but the difference in ride is unbelievable. Now, the truck is very responsive, but not hard at all. It’s a pleasure driving it.

Fox, that thing looks mean.
Porsche, what wheels and tires did you order from Tirerack? I've been on that site alot lately planning my next big move.
I think 20" wheels are a great balance between increased rim/tire sizing & handling vs. increased unsprung weight and "Bling"-looking. Do you think changing the rim size has adversely affected your warranty in Ford's eyes? I plan on driving the 17" crappers until next spring, get some life out of them, then upgrading to 20"s with a more road-oriented tire.

Fox , Im sorry , It was Discount tire direct. I purchased MB offroad Gunner 6wheels and P285/50R-20 Goodyear Eagle GT II tires. Total price with free shipping $1349.00. They look unbelievable. I personally didn't whant the chrome in your face look. I wanted a agressive factory look with a bit of the off road feel. I couldn't ask for a better combo and there price was way cheaper than Tire Rack. $189 per rim , $129 per tire. Good luck.
