No low end power

No low end power
I have a 1996 F-250 HD With a 7.3 turbo diesel My truck has a rough idle, very poor low end power, and feels like it has a miss or a shake at 1000-1500 RPMs. It still shifts nicely, but seems to be starving for power. The truck has about 117,000 miles on it. I can't seem to find anyone who can help do you have an answer?
