FE lifter bores

Has anyone bored and brushed the lifter bores on fe to accept Mopar's .904 lifters.
i have a free 390 block to try on.
Is it even worth it?

I do believe you can get faster ramps on the lopes and slightly more duration though out the whole profile. now i could be full of crap on this. Comp cams makes special lopes that take advantage of this . so i was dreaming up a custom cam

I see... so there's more area under the curve.

Why not just go to a roller cam? If you're going to a custom cam anyway...

have they made rollers that will last or more durable for the FE. Flat tappets just seem more durable JMO
