Im Fixin To Buy A 391 Can Some Help Me Out WitH Some Info. On Max Bore And Give Me Some Advice About Building A Fe

some can take a 4.13, some not all. it will have 4.05 standard.

I have a 391 block and it was bored to a stock 428, I was said that was all it should go.

When your block shopping bring your drill bits. You can gap the cyl wall cores with drill bits to see what wallcores were cast into the blocks your lookin at. 17/64" bit shank fits 332,352,360,390.330HD,361.391,410. A 13/64" bit shank for 406,428 and some 361,391. 8/64" bit shank for some 406 and most 427's. And some really thick 427's can take a 5/64" bit shank. You access the wallcores through the freeze plug holes in the block. This will take a little guesswork out of things. Coreshift and a sonic check will confirm exact thickness. I've heard of guys using allen wrenches to check but drill bits are more accurate. Convert the 64"'s as needed to your bit sizes. There is more but this will get you started.....
