added 2" hangers to my 6" front springs today and put the stock F250 block under the rear 5" springs... so its 8" on 37" toyo m/ts, which i just got brand new...sweet tires!... i love this combo much more practical then when i had 10.5" on 38"s... and looks worlds better then when i had 6" on 35"s.. im going to put back on Xover steer and trac bar kit before heatwave in austin, but for now, im going to the beach for a week vacation..Pulling the TT to corpus.. pics when i get back of offroading on the beach!.. let me know what you think, more pics to come!..
Nice!! But why did you go from 10.5" down to 6" then back up to 8"? Or is that the little boy in you that can't make up his mind? HaHa. Seriously I believe the smaller lifts are more practical but I do like the size of 38s. I saw some Nitto Mud Grapplers in 38" and did they look good! On my 4" lift I would have to install Bushwacker cutouts if I wanted a tire that tall. Concerning the Toyo M/Ts, do you like them better than the PJs you had? Didn't you buy some more used PJs recently?
yeah, dig the hood. Really want to get one of those for my 2003. Thinking about replacing the hood and bumper/grill for a 2005 Harley setup. I just can't make myself feel good about throwing that much money into it right now
Jet,
Truck looks sweet! very nice combo. You must be getting pretty good at installing lift kits by now! So are you sitting on Edge 6" springs with what company 2" hangers? What did you do with the rear? Add a block?
thanks for the nice words guys.... the springs are front 6" springs are superlift select, the rear are deavers.. the wheels are JAX HD 18x10s, you have to buy them throught discount tire . com , there chrome and heavy duty rated, with allot of offset, -27mm, comes out to be like 3 7/8" backspacing.. so it helps the skinner tires stick out more.. and there not too expensive like the other brands.. about $250 a peice or so..the tires are 37 toyo m/t
