My 67 F-100 now has a 352, headers, 4spd and 3.50 rear end. I'm replacing the 352 with my son's 390 block and pistons. He only had a couple of thousand miles on this block. Here's the plan:
* 390 already .030 over;
* Block has been decked (not certain how much);
* 390 crank from 1963 T-bird (ground);
* Speed-Pro L2291F pistons;
* Rods were on these pistons in my son's 390;
* Heads from 1963 T-Bird - hardened seats and new valves; some work done on the bowl area;
* Crower cam: (16241) - 222* & 228* duration with .538" & .552" lift, degreed when installed;
* Proper springs for this cam with otherwise stock valvetrain;
* Matched push rods (longer than stock);
* RPM Peformer intake;
* Edelbrock 750 cfm carb;
* 2 and 1/4" dual exhaust with Hooker Headers.
I'm not sure what the compression ratio will end up to be but I'm told a bit over 9.1 or maybe 9.2:1.
I drive this truck every day and am modifying it to simply have a little fun. Comments? Thanks.

Thanks, Rusty. When I get the measurements, I'll post again. I'm committed to the cam and am hoping for the best. My only real concern is the heads as I am not having a lot of work done to them. We'll see.
