I want to install a T5 into my 85 F150.I wanted to know if anyone has done this and if so will the gear shifter be in the same location as the old 4spd I used to have in it.I would like to use a World Class T5 from Ford. The motor is a 302.I also plan to install bucket seats instead of the bench. Thanks for the help.
I dont believe the t-5 is heavy enough for truck use. If it is let me know. I want a five speed for mine to and these are a lot cheaper than the truck transmitions.
