Only one question. Anyone know how easy it is to get the headliner out. And more importantly, back in?
My gallery has pics of when I added an overhead console.https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...&albumid=16808
The Headliner was really easy to take out.
  1. Remove the sun visors and their clips.
  2. Remove the grab handles off the front windshield pillars
  3. Overhead console if you have one
  4. Good idea to remove the rear view mirror from the windshield
  5. The trim on the Pillars will just pull off, you will need to pull the door seal away from them first, and it just presses back in to place.
  6. Remove the rear grab handles and coat hooks
  7. Gently pry the trim from the center and real door pillars, the clips on them are similar to the clips on the back of the windshield pillars.
  8. Pry the 4 plastic buttons out of the ceiling, two in front and two in the rear
  9. If I remember right the dome lights come down with the headliner but if they don’t it is just a matter of removing the covers and a couple of screws.
  10. It only took me about 30 min to remove mine and it only took that long because I was reasoning out how things come apart.

I made a mount that attaches to the inside seat bolts and runs in front of the center seat (the 20 of the 40/20/40). The bracket is used to hold a couple of items. Here is link to some pictures: CB Mount

Also in some of the photos is the Jotto Desk for my notebook computer - it also mounts to the seat bolts.

Thanks for the info Wayfarer. I thought it should be that simple. But, I've been tricked before in thinking that looking simple was the same as being simple.
