theres alot of cb radios it all depends what you want?some have echo some dont some have more power talk more miles.some people just want a cb radio for the highway ch 19 to listen to the truckers.
All depends on what you want. Low-end I would recommend a aligned and tuned Midland 1001Z ($40) with a wilson Lil'wil mag mount antenna ($30). Higher-end I would recommend a tuned and peaked Cobra 29 from sparkys ($100ish) or the new steath Cobra 29 ($200ish)from sparkys cb and a wilson 1000 antenna ($50ish). I would highly recommend my radio for sure; it is as solid as they get; SWP General Lee from Radio Active ($250ish). If you cannot use your roof; Redford hit the nail on the head as far as mounts go. GL bud.

Reason: added tune + peak
I have a Cobra 148 GTL, Fully channeled, peaked and tuned w/Red Devil power mic and hump mount bracket for sale if anyone interested, I have a K40 as well.
I was looking around at Cobra's Website and saw this 75 WX ST Compact/Remote Mount CB Radio with SoundTracker® and NOAA Weather. Am wondering if anyone knows how this performs? I live in the Hills. How does the power of this compare to a 29? Anyone know about an ant that I can just replace the stock ant with?
