M5OD - No third gear
I have a 93 explorer with an m5od. Somehow the previous owners son managed to loose third gear. When the selector is in the position for third it may as well be in neutral. However when in neutral the selector can not be moved to the third position whithout the clutch pedal being depressed.
I am going to be changing the clutch & slave shortly & was wondering if the entire transmission needed to be rebuilt / replaced or is it something I may be able to fix.
Any pointers would be helpfull, I tried the search and ended up with information overload after a couple of hundred posts.
