Jumping tranny

The C6 on my 88 F150 jumps from 1st and 2nd at about 40 MPH. It's just like it can't decide what gear it want's to be in. It's due for a tranny oil/filter change, will that help at all?

Jumping tranny

You have a bad modulator or poor vacuum to the modulator. I would replace the modulator located to the rear of the trans. Cost about $10.00
