Today I'm reading cnn.com and catch a glimpse of IBM adding 14000 new jobs and thinking GREAT! economy rebounding and THEN see the new jobs are in INDIA

Sorry for venting and being off topic, but it's hard when the small guy goes out and buys a Ford made in usa Kentucky and then this. You feel like as a nation we take 1 step forward and 2 steps backward. I voting for Bush twice and IF he could run a third time, I'd vote for somebody else.

The Chinese interest in UNOCAL is not for the US investment but for the Pacific Rim oil assets it owns. For Chinese use, not ours.
They have also made a HUGE (something like a $100B) investment in the Iran oil machine. Hmmm....China has a huge investment in Iran....China has a veto voice on the UN Sercuity Council.....Not a futuristic pretty picture.
