I started using Meguiars after reading these posts after having used armor all as well, i'd have to say a much better clean finish and not greasy like the armor all counterpart, thanks for all the help guys
I have to say that the Armor All "rep" for cracking dashes came because of bad materials. The quasi-vinyl that was used in the '80s would crack after you applied it because of the application. It doesn't take much to crack dried out plastics.
Ok....I will not doubt that, but on my vehicles the dash & seat cracking occured in the mid/late 1970's and involved 1965 mustang, 1969 Ford truck, 1978 Honda and about 12 commercial fleet vehicle seats in trucks that were 1 to 3 years old.
I quite using armorall because it attracted dirt. Looks great at first application, but one ride with the windows down, my dash had attracted all the dust within a square mile. Ended up being more of a mess to clean-up that not using it at all.
