Has anyone found a replacement junction block terminal which is used near the solenoid for the amp gauge connection. It is my understanding that this is a single terminal junction block but I guess it could be two terminals.
I am using a terminal block from an '80's GM passenger car. It is black with a single stud connection. Seems like it was out of a Cutlass, or some other GM mid-size FWD car.
I used a junction block that was on a 67 Shelby where the ammeter was wired in. It is reproduced and should be available anywhere that sells Mustang parts. It looks a lot like the original one that came on my truck. I will say it was more expensive than the one shown in the earlier post. I think it was around $20.00 but the "factory" look to it was worth it to me.
The single stud number is C7TZ 14448-C, replaced by D3TZ 14448-A. The D3TZ-A might still be available thru Ford, It was used on many larger series trucks. I'll look on Monday at work to see.
I found both numbers at Miller Obsolete in Vestal, NY., 1-800-546-7278. They show one of each.
Since your in Raleigh you may want to swing by Carolina Mustang (Cary) and look at that piece I was telling you about for the 67 Shelby. I think it's named something like "67 Shelby ammeter junction block" It's probably close to the price of the Ford one but it's black in color. One of the Mustang parts websites might even have a picture of it. Just a thought. Like I said in the earlier post, it looked a lot like the original one I pulled off my truck.(just a tad bit bigger)
