i got a question on ruuning stacks

Cat man 963 do you run a chip? I have had my stacks for a year and have never had a bit of soot on my truck. Even if i its raining or right after a rain. Just wondered if the chip is sooting your stacks worse than mine! 
OOPS! Just read yor post again and i see you do have a chip. That must be why your getting so much soot.
