Hmmm, better just use an svo alum block while I'm at it. Then I'll be saying anything less than 600 cubic inches is for wussies Remind me to make you one of my famous rum and cokes at the national. I'm sure Ivan agrees that they're fantastic. I know fez does.
Now that is a good idea, then that definatly fit's into the have the cake and eat it too. 600+ CID, and weigh less than a V6 can't hardly beat that.I ain't sure I would let you touch anything I am drinking remember I am subject to random drug testing at work, and am not sure I could pass after that
I think he changed his sig because some dude over at Pirate was telling him that he didn't know anything about building trucks........Unless someone over here told him that he was an idiot, but I think we all know better than that.
If your talking about the motorsport A460 iron blocks they are around 50-60lbs heavier than a passenger car block and the eliminator blocks weigh around 280 if I remember correctly which is 60lbs also. but if you are meaning the AR alum boss 9 block about the same amount lighter.
$5000 sure seems like a LOT of money to spend so you can save 60 pounds. A460 and the Eliminator can be punched over 600 cubes as well as the aluminum block. I believe they allow up to a 4.7" bore so with a 4.5" stroke you're at around 625 cubes. Of course this doesn't leave you any room for error or a work on the cylinders if you rebuild so you'd probably cut that back to a measley 604ci.
im running lightweight sparkplugs and i shaved my oil dipstick
i consider her to be lightweight
ive been thinking of dropping in a bored and stroked 2.xL beattle motor in to save some weight, 250 lbs and about 150 horses, that should cut my times in half
