I'd rather put $500 in 460 parts than $67,854,223 to get the same amount of go in a Stroker Cleveland.
Cody,
Since it sounds like you were planning on spending the money anyway, I have a proposition for you:
I'll buy your wife a new Ford truck with whatever engine she wants in it (around $40,000). Then you sink the other $67,814,223 into my truck and my engine. I'm thinking I'll have one badass 335 motor after all that (and a nice paint job, too.) Plus, I'll buy the beer while we're working on it. Deal?
HUmm, that oil line is something i will have to do to the 400 that we are doing to put in the bogger (save down time, we have a rebuilt 400 out of a burned up truck) along with a high volume pump.
Its all bench racing untill you actually have a running motor
I've heard allot of shoulda woulda couldas
Reminds me of my buddy who swears up and down that the 57 chev he had would have smoked my 67 merc in a race....now that we've each sold those cars. Funny, he never would race me when we DID own them oh yea, a little 418 335 series smallblock is TOTALLY for wussies!

Yeah, I am pretty sure my truck with 33s and a 300 would make you look silly in the mud, too, but I won't every show you One that my friend and I particularly get a kick out of is the ones that start out with " My chevy..." It seems that everytime we are out having fun, some schmuck has to come up and start that. Here I am just trying to have fun, and some retard is trying to ruin it.

True, But I do currently have a wussie 351w That made 550rwhp at 14lbs, Anyway the point I was trying to get across Is that a 460 is not the only engine that will make power, and that clevelands are very good engines

You are just a freakin post hoore. Tryin to get your count up? you havent contributed to this thread at all, and who the heck is "your friend"? Is it your special friend? Is he real or invisable? I am glad to see they gave internet access to the special ed class but I wish they would limit your posting. Not one person here has replied to your posts and you still keep posting. and please tell me how I am trying to ruin your fun? I made a statement that I thought would get a response from PROLIETOR and it did he called me a wussie again if he keeps it up he might hurt my feelings.

Uh oh . . . here we go again. Now if we could only get Kevin to come in here and tell us how a 302 will whoop ALL the other engines. Sorry Kevin, I just had to.
For allllll the money and work you can put into a clev you could have built a much more powerful 460. Not to mention the 460 will still put out far more torque. For Christ sakes I've seen 4 cylinder ricers that put out 700 horse. Downside is those engines don't last long and have almost no torque which won't do dick for spinning big tires. Hell, Rob has run his cleveland and loved it but I would imagine there's a reason he pulled it out of the truck and built a big block. But I imagine much of the little engine attitude comes from these guys wives telling them "It's not the size that matters . . . it's how you use it!"
Hey Jesse, what's the 411 on your 418? Let's see some specs, flow numbers, cam, etc. Sounds like it'll be a wicked little engine. Also sounds like you're still a wussy . . . wuuuuuuussssssssyyyyyyyyyy with short man syndrome!
