FORD "PO7" MAINTENANCE PLAN
Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with Ford's "PO7" maintenance plan that has just been offered to me by my dealer? My 36 month warranty has just expired and naturally, I need a costly repair done. They offered me this plan that consists of paying $495, which covers the cost of the major repair, and extends the "power train" warranty for another 36 months/75,000 miles (currently has 25,000 miles). I am told that for the next 36 months/75,000 miles, if I have a power train problem, I simply pay a $50 deductible to have it fixed. Sounds like a good deal, are there any hidden pitfalls that have turned up from firsthand experience?
