So what yall think about jus bolting them on the bumper or behind the grill? Any one got some thoughts on where to mount lights, without having to bye a $400.00 + Bull Bar/Brush Guard?
I have my low lights mounted on top of my factory push bars. This puts them alost even with headlights. I have a KC stainless lightbar over head. Puting them behind the grille will detract from their effectiveness ( is that even a word ) granted they are safer there but unless you cut the grille to let the light out you'll get weird illuminations.

Actually, mine doesn't give off any weird illuminations. When I turn the lights on, it doesn't cast any shadows, or really reduces the effictivness of the lights...
Thats because your grill is open w/ a honeycomb plastic guard over it. Hooker Bob is talking about stuff like a 93 F 150 or a 96 Bko or an 01 F150 w/ grille "crossmembers"... Dp you follow?
Hooker look at his pics and youll see why he has no wierd illumination effects...
