Battery is un-hooked. How long must I wait before re-connecting?

Also, will I have to re-program my remote door locks?

10-15 min. Not sure, are they factory? If so you should not have to.

Factory? Not sure about the wife's remote but mine's not, although it was purchased from a Ford dealer.

Well other then having to re-set the radio because of unhooking the battery for no reason, everything appears to be working fine.

The reason I said for no reason is because when between the time I posted the air pump question and waiting for a response the LLS kicked in and corrected itself. Stupid as I am I did not notice this when I walked out to re-set the system by unhooking the battery.

Anyway until I can get the new part from the dealer just down the street the temporay fix seems to be working.

Again 01, thank you for all your help and I have given a plug to your reputation in helping me with this problem here at FTE.

Not a problem. I was glad I could point you in the right direction.

Hey 01, you wouldn't happen to know the part number for this thing would you? The Ford boys in town seem to think that this is a vacuum line and want their service department to look it over. Must be low on income this month.

Nope, do not have the number. Try what Orleec, said. You know what the old one looks like, the new one will look similar, but be more robust. Also any good parts guy should be able to look the LLS system up and see the parts.

Orleec, has the right part number. It is called a Union repair kit, and its for the main rear air line.
