1987 F-250, 4x4, 460, c6(truck in sig) so far its been a great truck, i bought it nearly a month ago, i wish i had i liscense istead of this damned permit...
its torture owing a vehicle and not being able to use it whenver you like.
December 1995, dad brought home a 1983 F-250 4x4 with a 300I-6 and a Grany low 4 speed. The heat wasn't workin, the chole didn't work and the radio was beyond functional, seat was ripped apart and in general the truck was slightly abused.
By the time I turned 16 the follwing August it was a great truck again.
I had a '78 Dodge Colt, 1.6L and 88HP, still fast enough to get me the only speeding ticket of my life, that was in '88 or so. I was a Mopar fan in my younger days, I got over that now though.
I am only 14 and i just got a truck that has been handed down through my family forever. The truck is an 82' F100 Its in an ok condition, The motor is fine, it just needs a little bit of work which i can fix up the motor, but it is in bad need of a paint job, the interior is falling apart, it needs a sound system, and it needs rims. I dont know what color to paint or even where to get the paint job at. Here is the catch, since i dont have a job i have no money so i need good prices on everything. Can you guys help me?

74' Mustang ll, only paid 200.00 for it back in 1986. Best car I had ever owned. Drove it for 3 years and never had to put a dime into it. I sold it to buy a gutlass cutlass. I was young!!! Never do that again!

Hey Mushroooom777, He means that someone will respond to your thread and help you out. Try checking out the classifieds for parts and deffinatly check out e-bay for parts. I have found lots of good deals on e-bay and saved tons of money. Good luck with the f-100.
My first vehicle was a 76 longbed datsun truck. It was a real pos. I worked on it more than I drove it. Throw some mud in the tailgate it would go anywhere though. If it wouldnt go easy I was young so I would get up my speed and jump it. I finally got rid of it tired of working on it. I must have gotten all the bugs out though cause the last time I heard from the new owner was 2 years later and it was still his daily driver. Claims he had done nothing to it.
