1968 Plymouth Fury II with a 318 2bbl when I was 16 back in 1978. Inherited from my grandma That thing was a tank. Never had one problem except that I kept breaking motor mounts because of the way I drove it. Used to get a new set of Western Auto bias-ply tires ($19 each) for the rears about every six months. Never changed the oil ever - why would you when your dumping a quart of the good stuff (Liberty recycled 30W from the local Shamrock) in every week? It would absolutely smoke the mid 70's Cutlass and Monte Carlos with the 350 - just drive off and leave 'em.
In 1997 I got a 1988 Nissan Pulsar, 4 cyl, T-Top, Champange color. The second day I had it It overheated and blew a head gasket and cracked the head... spent 2 weeks in the shop. When it came back they had replaced almost everything under the hood major belts and hoses... When I got that thing back it ran just like brand new! I wrecked it 5 months later heading to traffic court.
1972 Cadillac Sedan DeVille (aka, really big freakin' car) I bought for $400 in 1994. I was 14 and had just gotten my license. It ran like a freight train, but after I'd had it about a month I got offered $600 for it. I pulled the CB out of it (Cobra 29LTD) and it's in my F-350 today. Two weeks after the guy bought it from me he blew a headgasket on it. Lucked out on that one!
First vehicle of my own was in '83. It was an '81 F150 4X4, 351, automatic. Lotsa good memories in that 'ol truck. Traded it in '85 for a new 4X4 diesel.

1973 Harvest Green Plymouth Duster, 225 slant 6, bench seats, no a/c, but it had front vents on the kick panel that you could keep about a six pack in.
First car was a 1952 Ford 4 door sedan. Flathead V8. Bought with own $$ in 1961. Did first engine overhaul. Removed outside rear door handles, dechromed wholl car except for bumpers. Repaired and primed body to paint. Enlisted in military. my dad sold it for me to a cop for work car.
Mine was a 1991 Toyota 4Runner....nothing like my F-150, but it worked for a first ride that I could beat on and run into things with when driving off road.
1979 Old 98 Regency Coupe.. That thing was a beast.. It had the rocket 350 mated to a 400thm.... The thing would fly.. Dad bent 2 rods a week before I got it on the road.. Sold it for $100 to a friend of dad's that used 'em for the demo derby. I wish I still had it..
1963 850cc Mini Cooper.
The thing spent more time in the shop than on the road, but eventually I got the dollars to dump a 1500cc, and 5 speed transmission, and lighten some body panels.
I still have it, and will never get rid of it. It now makes around 160hp, and weighs around 1000lbs, I race in Motorkhanas with it occasionally.
First car was a 1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye orig 340/727 slapstick which was then converted to 440/727. It was one of the best vechiles I have ever owned!
