In case anyone is in need of some parts for their trucks I found a treasure of parts the biggest find I have seen of slick 60s. It is an all Ford salvage run by a nice fellow named Lawrence. He has been there aboust 35 years and is very knowledgeable about 50 thu 80 trucks and seems partial to 65. He has a 65 yard wrecker for nearly 20 yrs. He admired my 66 and took me on about a fast hour tour of a multitude 60 thru 66 trucks and he knows about every truck history.. Plensty of 64 and 63 also. Several short bed 65 in various conditions. He is very good on most all his prices and treat him right (no snow jobs) and can help most anyone who needs something. It is located 5 mi W of Bristow on the north side of the highway 66. The next town is Depew Okla. The name is AXHELM SALVAGE FORD PARTS.
If anyone goes by tell him Lawrence in the 66 thats needs paint told you to stop by an say howdy.

I am not sure but I saw so much stuff i think he probably has some parts. He said he had probably had about 35 or more 56s. I indicted I would be interested in 66 partss and that is what he did. He has a large number of 61 66 parts truck and many he would sell only complete front ends or cabs. There was many partal trucks you could buy a fender or hood or other pieces. I will probably will be back for a back glass and maybe a winshield. I'll ask if he has any.
You will have plenty to see if you stop by.

I doubt it. He doesn't have any listed on his card. Even if you don't need anything specific you could spend several days finding lots of things you never expected.

It is not far from Tulsa. When you head west from Bristow the drive isn't marked very well but you will pass a turnin that doesn't go in just go a little and you will see a short drive up a hill. As soon as you start up the hill you will see all the old trucks and cars. Turn in and you're there.

Hey Guys- I'm in California and am not likely to get to Ok any time soon. I need a step for the passenger side of my 66 f100 swb. Would any of you be willing to see if he has one, how much and what would shipping be. Or, if you could give me a phone number, I'd be happy to call him myself.
Thanks,
Judi
