Lunar green is what mine was originaly. It is a lighter shade than the old Sears Service Truck green. Almost like the Aqua color used that year only green.
Go to a paint shop. They'll be able to figure it out for you. Plus, I've seen these things called paint charts that show the colors. I might could find one for you to look at. Email me and I'll see what I can dig up.
The VIN is also on the frame. It should be the original VIN and I believe it is on the passenger side frame arm right below the alternator. I could be wrong, but that's where it is on my 70.
