Hotfoot mod is adjusting the pedal to take out the dead spot. That way you touch the pedal and go instead of pushing it down forever to get moving.

10K mod works on all 7.3L PSD's.

I wouldn't do the 10K and the hotfoot mod together. Once you start adding power that pedal gets a bit touchy. At least that's the way mine is now.

Hotfoot feels like it has more power, but doesn't. The 10K mod actually gives you more power.

Take your pick. I know which one, I'd prefer...

I've heard many talk about the 10k mod. As touchofgrey knows I'm just learning. What performance does it inhance and how simple of a job is it.

O.k. I have the 10k mod and some other stuff but my pedal is kinda "slow" in my opinion....so how do you do this hottfoot modification? I'll try it and see if it helps in the "slow" aspect...lol :-)

The 10K mod is easier to do. It will speed up your pedal because it will give better throttle response at low to mid rpms.

I believe that the early 99's have 2" intakes (late 99's and up have 3") and also the psd badge is on the fender and not the door. I know there are more differences than this but i have a case of crs right now.

My late '99 had the later wheel. It didn't work very well under heavy load, so I put in a Swisher wheel.
