I've got a lot of digital photos stored on my computer. How do I go about getting them on a CD-R? Is it possible to just copy and paste them from the file to the CD-R? I do have a CD burner program called "Record Now". All info is appreciated.
If your using windows XP you can copy and paste them all into your CD burner.
An Icon will pop up telling you you have files waiting to be written to CD, just select write to CD after you put a CD-R into your burner and there you go.
I used win XP and Record Now for a long time, just open it, select data disc and drag and drop your files/folder in to the record now window and press burn. Its a very easy program to use and i've never had a problem with it.
Would just like to say to everybody BACK UP YOUR FILES! my hard drive took a dump on me last week and I lost 7.5GB of music aswell as tons of my photograpy and other random phoptos from the web I had gathered, i'm now limping along on a cobbled together comp running win98 till I can afford another hard drive
RecordNow will work just fine for what you want to do. Just open the software and follow the directions on how to burn a data CD. Once you burn this CD, you can even share the picture s with friends. Ther is a feature called Drag and Drop that all the different software companies have. This is done thru Windows Explorer. I would not use this feature as it uses packet writing and is notorious for problems. Just use the regular software to burn the data CD.
