So, Whatja Do Today?

Today I woke up early at7:30 AM (I like to sleep in late on the weekend). Surfed FTE for about an hour then put in my window air conditioner. It is way too hot now.

Went out and cut the lawn and tried out my new leaf blower. Mostly blew the thrown grass back onto the lawn from the sidewalk. Also gave my wife a quick blow! She didn't know they were so powerful! You should have seen her hair when I was done with her!

Had a shower and went out to lunch with my parents. Then went grocery shopping and came home. Watched Blade Trinity (pretty good movie) then went back out and washed my truck.

Now I am back HERE and might watch another movie or play some Socom 2:US Navy Seals (online game for PS2). Will go to bed around 11 or so.

So, Whatja Do Today?

-Matt

Woke up 6:30, went to work, delivered 10 tons of ice, went home to my parents, got my Grandma's old dresser and brought it up to my apartment at school with my dad, dinner with dad, mom, and niece, and now I'm here waiting till 10 to go to bed.

And it was almost AC weather today (at home), especially with the humidity.

Hung out with Pam Anderson from 6AM to 7AM, went to work. Came home home around 6PM took a shower, then met Pam again, we had dinner, and then I took her home around 8:15PM. She was tired, so we didn't Party tonight, I'm beat too.
Next week we are going to Miami, we are in a speed boat race, and afterwards we are going to hang with Bill Gates cause it is his boat we are driving.

Went to bed at 1:30 AM, woke up at 6:00 AM, went to work, palpated mares, evaluated shipped semen, bred mares, helped treat $400,000 show mare for colic, started breathing again as she got better, helped drain and wrap a hoof abcess, helped give tour of our barn/lab to members of the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association, ate lunch, did daily med treatments, thawed frozen semen and bred another mare, took a nap, checked on mares left to foal, cleaned my apartment, checked mares again, now going to bed to do it all over again tomorrow, and hoping I don't get called out in the middle of the night!

Continued the deforestation of my backyard. 35 ft or so cedar tree. Up top, it has been repeatedly topped by the power co. as it is about 3 feet from the 240v lines. 20 feet up, the phone lines are on my side. On the other side, the non-english speaking Chinese neighbor who keeps yelling at me, I think, not to drop any more limbs on his plants and small trees.

So, I limbed it with my Sawzall, and then I got to the lastest, biggest, longest, and of course, highest branch. About 10" in diameter, it pointed straight out into the neighbors yard.

The solution? I chained it to the trunk, cut it off and let it hang down the side of the tree. Then, back to work cutting it off a bit at a time, working my way up. Had to leave a big chunk of it up there as I ran out of daylight. Hope that chain holds. (4700 lb tow chain...)

And that's about all I did today, other than watch my daughter play softball--her team stomped the other one.....

I didn't do anything... soooo boring. I worked on some baseboard trim at my neighbor's house, then killed like 8 hours, then went and watched Star Wars: Return of the Jedi at my buddy's house...
