websthes, I hear ya! Same temperature here today. Just got home after working 11 hours outside. Whew, she was warm!

Cut down a dead tree, then cut down 6 spruce trees. My dad cut down another dead tree then I cut down two more dead trees. It was kind of nice because the last job was no clean-up (leave it in a HUGE mess!)

My back has been bothering me for a week and a half but on the weekend it was doing much better. Now, it is hurting again! Maybe I am allergic to work!

Since everyone else started with Saturday, so will I.

Greased and inspected a truck. Then proceed to replace a wheel seal, trans output seal, and a jack shaft u joint. Then, the u joint turned into u joint and 2 yokes, then a throughshaft.

Then, install chrome on a Pete.

Clean up and leave. Pick up case of beer at drive thru, go to sister in law's for a CRAB FEAST!!!

Yesterday, got up, took wife to mall. Did some looking around, got my necklace cleaned ultrasonically (allergic to paste cleaners). Wife got a psychic reading. All is okay. Rented a couple movies, watched them, went to bed.

Today, went to some pawn shops, and got some Mac and Snap On impact sockets. Went to visit a buddy at his shop, shoot the breeze for a couple hours. He wants me to build some Ford and Chev V8's to long blocks for him. We'll see. Then went to Crappy Tire and got some flex head gear wrenches. Got groceries for the week. Came home, turned on the PC, and here I am.

June 6 (Part Two)

Well, I was surfing FTE and then my dad called. Some lady's tree fell over (after I ate supper, showered and was getting ready to relax) so I had to go back out and clean it up. Well, it partially fell over. Had to finish putting it on the ground to make it safe.

Now, I am going to have ANOTHER shower then TRY to relax for about 20 mins before I go to bed to wake up and do it all over again...

Send some of that down our way, wouldja? We suddenly regressed back to late winter and it's been cold and windy since Friday. Gonna have to build a fire tonight to keep warm. Thought I was done with that crap till Fall... -TD

If you tried that here today, you'd wind up hang gliding! Right now it's about 55 degrees (F) under mostly clear skies, with winds gusting to about 35-40 mph. What the heck happened to summer? -TD

Yeah, but why are we getting an S.F. summer up here? We should be in the high 90s- low 100s already. I don't mind the cooler temps, its just a PITA to put up with the wind right now. It's ripping up my shade tarps at work! -TD

Don't feel alone. In January, February, and part of March they were howling about 100 year drought up here. Hasn't stopped raining since. Buddy went up to Mt. Hood skiing on Sunday- said it was a freakin' blizzard up there. It's barely making it into the 60's...T-Storms, torrential downpours...

What I'm gonna do Wednesday is not water my weeds. It's suppose to rain.

Maybe I shouldn't have done that Indian rain dance either.

Wow! Another hot day!

Did a few tree jobs then went to Dairy Queen for afternoon break. Got off of work around 3 pm.

Went home and showered and changed. Wife wanted to go spend money so we went to the mall for a couple hours.

Came home and watched some TV. My back has been bothering me for the last 3 weeks or so, so I went to the hospital. They did some X-rays and said everything was fine. My spine is slightly crooked and it may be bothering me a bit. I work outside doing physical work and am tall (6'3") so that is why. Went and got some prescribed medication and came home to go to bed.

G'night!

Well, it was cloudy all day, and just started to rain here.

This morning, I went and got a slab of salmon from Save On for dinner, large double double at Tim Hortons, then came home to do some (6 loads) of laundry. Mostly towels. Then I sat in front of the boob toob for the rest of the day.

Oh lets see here...

Woke up around 10:30am, took a shower, ate breakfast around 11:00. Surf FTE for a while, then go down for a job testing session for the city. Find out there are 58 people applying for ONE position. Talk to a guy I went to school with, who says the normal number of people applying for these types of positions around here is about 200.

Get back home around 3:00. Check up on FTE again. Take a nap.

5:00 rolls around, turn on the Sci-fi channel and watch a rerun of Stargate.

6:00 eat supper. Wander outside and check the differential fluid in the truck. It was a hair low, top it off. Try to get rid of an annoying little exhaust pipe rattle. Unsuccessful.

Go drive down and check river levels.

8:00 now. Sit down and work on a website for one of my customers. (I run my own computer business... be your own boss and all that.) Get as far as possible without input. 9:30 now.

Go reload a box of shotgun shells. For those interested: 12 gauge, Remington cases, Hodgdon International Clays powder, Federal primer, WAA12-SL wad, #7 1/2 shot, 1oz.

Go back to check FTE, and find this thread.

Next is to watch TV for a while and go to bed.

This is a typical day. Think I have much stress?
