I am so depressed. I have put a lot of time and effort into my truck. 93 ford bronco. Finally found tranny, But the wiring under dash is toast. What can i do. i cant find a replacement anywhere. what are the codes on the harness? what trucks are compatible?
I agree IF you can't find one online, go to a bone yard and one from a similar(engine tranny) from 86-96 might fit. Keep looking on line to find one you know will work, and just pay a little more for one than in a junk yard.
Look for the harness out of F150 also, in that year range......I didnt have a chance to look for it at any of my "spots", but I will keep my eyes open.
I was at a junkyard, and the closest i found was a 92, mines a 93. It was almost perfect exept it wa short a fewer wires thn mine. 92-96 have different trannys, and 96 have all new computers. I'm going out to truck now to try one from a 96. see if it might work.
