I just pulled a set of injectors from a 1992 or 93 F150 from a salvage yard that I wanted to keep as spares, but I'm unfamiliar as to what I saw on the spray tips. My current injectors are yellow top (19lb) with a single hole and pintle tip. The ones that I pulled out are also yellow top, but have 4 very small holes instead of the single pintle. My question is, are the 4 hole better than what I have? And are they interchangable with single hole type and work with my ECM? The numbers on the injectors are F2TE. Any responses are greatly appreciated.
They are compatible. The only difference I'm aware of is the spray pattern. My truck originally came with the single pintle injectors, and now I am running the four hole ones with no problems.
