Well I finally called Ford customer service about my DSO and hit a dead end. They are going to send me a build sheet, but I had to educate the person on the phone as to what a DSO number is. The suggested that I contact my local dealer, which to me means please go annoy them not us. I will contact them but my hopes are not high. Anyway what sort of DSO numbers do some of you folks in foreign markets have? I have seen some Australians on here from time to time. Is a truck considered export if it is made in Canada and sold in the US?

Thanks

trucks built in the states that are sent to canada get a B code

B1=Central Canada
B2=Eastern Canada
B3= Atlantic
B4= Mid-Western
B6= Western
B7= Pacific

12 = Export
90's Export

Here is the wording from "the book".

The DSO space will show a 2 digit number of the district which ordered the unit.This code will appear on all units-domestic or export
If unit is built on a DSO,ESO,or PTO (special orders) the copmplete order number is under the DSO space after the district code.

Your last DSO ? would be best asked in the International chapter

I called Ford again and they said that they will hand my question over to the personel who manually research this sort of information on old vehicles. If they decide to answer the request I will receive a reply by mail. Doesn't sound particularly promising, but all I can do is wait and see what happens

Thanks for your reply(s)
