Hood Antenna

Is there a smaller replacement antenna for our trucks? everytime I go in and out of my garage it hits the garage and house... if so where and how much is it? Thanks..

I believe that you should be able to find a ford antena pretty much anywere that sells car audio.

cool deal, I figured it couldnt be that hard, im going to get some car mats, i wonder if autozone will have an antenna...

There is a good chance I've seen some real short rubber ones that bend and are probably only 12" high

I've read on here of a few guys who have cut off a few inches off the tip of the antenna with out affecting reception. Could be a cheap solution.

I was having the same problem

I was having the same problem, I cut a 1/2 inch off and everything is fine and you can't tell at all. In my openion the short rubber ones look silly.

hey now I wasn't saying I use the short rubber one :P my trucks up there enough that I have long since stopped worrying about going into a garage.
