Broken Rear Hatch Latch
Any ideas how to open a broken '93 Aerostar XLT rear hatch latch?
Mine just broke, and I am wondering how I can get it open
somehow so I can begin work on it from under the inside panel.
Please advise! And thank you!

Well while I have never had this problem I would think the first thing you should do is remove the inner trim panel from the hatch.
Then you should see the linkage (a metal piece) that leads from the handle to the latch mechanism make sure the lock is unlocked and pull or push that linkage and it should release and open the hatch.
