Stupid Questions

Okay, I know I should know these by now, but I don't

1. What does TTB stand for?

2. What exactly is a Cat-Back exhaust system?

Since moving or removing your cat is supposedly illegal, cat-back exhausts are designed to enhance your exhaust system from the cat back. They usually give you either a larger pipe with flow thru muffler or many cat backs use a y-pipe to split the exhaust after the cat and exit thru two mufflers similar to a dual setup.

Stupid Questions

TTB stands for Twin Traction Beam, and refers to the two piece axle on 4X4 Ford trucks, ranger, explorer, and F-series during 80's and early nineties. The two wheel drive versions had the TIB, twin I beam, which is two cast iron straight beams supported by coil springs that hold the suspension together. Hope this clears that up.

Stupid Questions

"Cat back" simply refers to everything from the rear of the catalytic converter to the rear of the vehicle. Otherwise it is just as Slik said above.
