I've got to say I was a little sad after finally getting a chance to try out an '05 3-valver. I am not one to ever bad mouth my beloved and highly reliable V-10, but I have to say the experience truelly left me with no 3-valve envy.
just kidding, one sweeeet ride. I think I would trade in if I wasn't waiting for the '07's.
The 3 valve V10 and the T/S trans are an impressive combination for sure and it would be neat if Ford pumps up the power of the V10 even more for the 07s. I hope Ford does a good job on the 07 SD body changes. I liked the SD right from the start but it took me awhile to get used to the new F150 but it is starting to grow on me and I definately like it better than all the competition in that segment. I like Japanese styling in cars but in their
full size trucks it really falls short IMO Wrench.
Hey Kanertop.... April has come and gone brother... stop it!
Folks don't read for comprehension anymore and some web spider will record your post as another nail in a search for folks who do not like Ford trucks and the V10...
Be careful how you post...
Yes these are damned good trucks and super impressive to move that much weight from a standing stop up to over the speed limit in very smart fassion...
Heading out in a few to generate some Saturday BSEG....Later
If you think the test drive was impressive, wait until you can drive a truck with 2500 miles or so on it, you wont believe the difference in power from showroom new to "broken-in"
