Sounds like you are making good progress with this .
What i meant was that you basically run an additional crossmember parrallel with the frame rails in the back, basically what those pictures show is where i would run it. But like i said its just an idea.
Here are some pics of my painting progress so far. I have a lil more sanding/fixing of rust on my rear cab corners, then I should be good to go. Once I eat a quick bite to eat I am going to spray the underside of my box, and then etch prime the box/cab/etc.
Heck i'd just move the shock bar up so that when the axle is at the top of its up travel the shock has about a half inch left of so, then that way you have all the down travel you need.
Ramboss, Are ya gonna be able to bring the your ride to the mudbogs at gregory on the 4th, or at least make it down to watch? It's their celebration days and should be an awesome time. CHEERS!!!
Yeah i'm glad i had my pickup ready before we started haying, we have been insanely busy around here.Too bad you wont be ready but if ya make it, it will be a good time. The guy that puts on the mudbog is a friend of mine and trust me my driving will not dissapoint!!
I'm doing what I can to make it there to watch ya romp on your Ford. I went to yahoo maps and its over 200 miles for me to go down there. I also have this girl that wanted me hang out with her for the 4th, with a happy ending , then I mentioned mud drags and she got all excited. So, maybe I'll bring a chick to hook up the straps when the Chevy's get stuck...
Haha that sounds awesome...my girlfriend will be with me I probably wont be making it out of Gregory that night. A few buddies are coming also. Hope to see ya there.
The race will start at 1:00 central time. The track is located about 4 miles north of gregory. There will be plenty of signs posted. You can see the track from the highway. It is on private ground.
